AvantGarde Security Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions describe your relationship with Avantgarde Security Systems Limited with regards to the goods or services provided to you by the company. Please read them carefully before placing an order for either of the above.
‘’Customer’’ means the person or company who purchases or agrees to purchase any goods or services from Avantgarde Security systems Ltd.
‘’ Company’’ ,’’ We’’ or ‘’Us’’ means Avantgarde Security Systems ltd.
‘’Goods’’ means the goods or services provided by Avantgarde Security Systems ltd.
‘’ System’’ means the security equipment, being the goods the customer agrees to buy from the company.
‘’Specification’’ or ‘’ Quotation’’ means the document setting out the details or cost of the security system which the customer has ordered or agrees to buy from the company.
‘’Completion’’ means the goods or system ordered by the customer have been fully installed by the company as per the customer’s order and the customer or the customer’s authorised representative has been instructed on the proper operation of the system and signed the relevant completion paperwork.
Ordering and Payment Terms
Once the customer has made an order for any goods from the company, we will endeavour to have the same installed at the address provided by the customer within 30 days of the order provided all the necessary details requested from the customer have been provided to the company and all other requirements made by the company have been met by the customer. A 50% deposit will be required from the customer upon making the order and the balance will be payable to the installation engineer upon completion. We accept valid Visa, Master and Switch credit and debit cards. We also accept payment in £ sterling by cheque from all major UK banks which need to be made payable to Avantgarde Security Systems Ltd. This is either to be given to the installation engineer or sent by post to the company’s address as stated on the relevant invoice within 7 working days from the completion date.
Cancellation and Refund policy
If you are the customer, you have the right to cancel the order for the goods made to the company as long as you make a written request to the company within 7 days of receiving written acceptance from us, in which case you will receive a full refund of any payments made by yourself to the company. Should you already have an installation date booked for your system to be installed, however, and you decide to cancel the order, there will be an administration and cancellation charge of £100.00. which may be deducted from any deposit which you may have made.
Warranty and liability.
Whilst we will endeavour to install the system ordered by the customer within a 30 day period, the company shall not be held liable in any way for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the customer or any other person arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet the above mentioned estimated delivery and installation date. Once the system has been installed by the company it will be guaranteed for a period of one year from the installation date for any repairs arising from faults developed within the system preventing it’s proper operation as long as those faults did not occur through any of the customer’s or any third party’s doing or neglect. Any claim made by yourself resulting from any damage or loss caused through the malfunction of the system during the above mentioned guarantee period will not exceed the total sum paid by yourself for the installation of the said system. We will only guarantee goods or equipment which have installed either by ourselves or by our appointed representatives.
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions or parts thereof without any notice to you . We also reserve the right to modify or withdraw all or any part of the contents of this website or change any prices or special offers mentioned therein without any notice to you and will not be liable to you or any third party for doing so. It is your responsibility to check our website regularly whether any of it’s contents or conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any conditions mentioned herein, then you must immediately stop using the website.
